Atelier Versace Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook

Atelier Versace‘s latest collection is one of my very favorite Spring/Summer 2011 Haute Couture collections.
The colors, prints and silhouettes are classic Versce at tit’s best!
I’m glad that Versace chose the gorgeous Abbey Lee Kershaw for this lookbook after her last fantastic Versace campaign.

Miu Miu Fall/Winter 2011

This is the first time in many seasons that I don’t get blown away by a Miu Miu collection…
I liked the vintage glamour feel of the pieces, but there was nothing “special” or “new”….
My favorite looks were the old style printed and embroidered dresses.
Here are the ten best looks from my point of view.. All the rest was OK, but a bit too repetitive.

Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2011

“It’s all about fetish,” said Marc Jacobs about his new Louis Vuitton fall collection.
The show based around themes of fetishism and objects of desire was staged in an old french hotel…
Jacobs models were dressed as hostesses in maids outfits!
“We were thinking about obsession, fetishism and we thought about an old hotel, with its chambermaids and the affairs that go on there, the crimes and scandals. And we just wanted to reveal all the amazing creatures who passed through there.”

Louis Vuitton’s “objects of desire” varied from crocodile handbags, to designers handcuffs, to a “joint” smoked by supermodel Kate Moss who closed the show (Naomi Campbell also walked during this amazing show).
Keeping with the fetish theme, this collection was more about accessories, shoes, handbags and details than it was about clothes and outfits..
After all shoes and handbags are women’s ultimate fantasy and objects of desire.
